This website aims to provide you with all the information you may need about what the Muni has to offer, how to book tickets and who to contact to arrange your own event.
The Muni is a stunning Edwardian theatre situated in the heart of Colne and is a hugely popular venue. A drop-off bay for disabled customers is directly outside the theatre and both the main hall and Lesser Muni are easily accessible for all.
Through the Muni Theatre, Pendle Leisure Trust strives to bring a wide range of quality entertainment for everyone including comedy, festivals, classical music, live concerts and children’s shows.
Events Guides are compiled and produced twice yearly both on hard copy and online and will enable you to plan your entertainment well ahead and take advantage of a reduced advance ticket price.
We sometimes host shows at short notice which may not be included in the brochure, however these are featured both on this website and in the local press.
In conjunction with The Arts Council North West and its partners, we work hard to make the Muni and its staff and services as family friendly as possible, for we appreciate that quality time with your family is extremely important.
The Muni welcomes people with disabilities and strives to offer equal access for all. Disabled toilets are available on the ground floor. If you use a wheelchair it is essential you inform the Box Office when booking for any theatre show due to fire regulations. We will issue a free ticket to essential carers upon the production of ID.
Gift vouchers are available online and from the Muni Box Office.
Parking is located directly behind the theatre, providing free parking after 6pm and at weekends.
Make the most of your night out at The Muni and leave the car at home!
With frequent Mainline buses which stop right outside the theatre on Albert Road, you can enjoy the show - and a drink as well. And there are plenty of late night buses to catch afterwards, with the last bus from Colne Bus Station to Burnley Bus Station at 23.17. Simply show your bus ticket to the bar staff to receive £1 off your first drink (one drink per ticket).
