The Muni Theatre in Colne has been See It Safely approved – ready for its reopening in September!

The Pendle Leisure Trust facility has been given the seal of approval and granted the use of the Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre’s See It Safely mark.

This certifies that the popular Edwardian theatre is complying with the latest Government COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety of its staff and audiences.

This is ahead of plans to reopen the theatre in September with a full Autumn/Winter programme.

To qualify for the confidence mark, Pendle Leisure Trust proved it was providing the highest standard of cleanliness and safety and demonstrated the Trust is adhering to Government health guidance; has carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and has the required procedures in place ensuring they can welcome customers back with confidence.

Pendle Leisure Trust’s Chief Executive, Alison Goode, said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised for all the hard work we have done and the Government guidelines we have followed in order to make sure the theatre is safe for reopening.”
